Upon hearing Hongjun’s furious roar, Yangmei, Fuxi, and the others dared not slacken. Each summoned their prized treasures and charged at Luohu.

Seeing their assault, Luohu laughed wildly, "Too late! Though my Sword Formation is not yet perfect, it is already formidable. Today, I shall use your blood to complete my Sword Formation!"

With those words, he cast his spell. Instantly, in the four directions—east, west, south, and north—appeared colossal swords, radiating a destructive aura that threatened to obliterate all.

There is a song praising them: Neither copper nor iron nor steel, once hidden beneath Mount Xumi; no need to forge with inverted yin and yang, nor temper in water and fire for their sharpness. The Sword of Immortal Slaughter brings death, blood-red light surges from the Sword of Trapping; the Sword of Absolute Immortal changes with infinite marvels, even great immortals have their robes stained with blood.

Witnessing this, Hongjun halted, blocking those behind him. With a darkened expression, he addressed the group, "Luohu’s Immortal Slaughter Sword Formation is complete. Fellow Daoists, be cautious and do not act rashly. Let us confer before making any decisions."

None knew that at the very moment the Four Swords of Immortal Slaughter appeared in the prehistoric world, a flash of red light swept across the earth above the river of time and space, then vanished without a trace. The entire planet gradually became shrouded in a black haze...

Seeing Luohu’s sword formation fully deployed, Yangmei, Dao of Yangmei, and Qian Kun Daoist’s expressions changed drastically. Though they knew not the origins of this formation, the overwhelming murderous aura emanating from it sent chills through their hearts.

Hongjun spoke gravely, "I have studied this Immortal Slaughter Sword Formation in the Creation Jade Disk. Once perfected, only four sages could break it. Fortunately, the formation diagram is not yet complete. We may enter from four directions, protected by supreme treasures, and seize the four swords. As Fuxi lacks a protective treasure, he should remain outside the formation to support us. Do you object?"

The others nodded in agreement. Fuxi looked at his Star-Slaying Sword, smiled wryly, and refrained from feigning strength, accepting his role to stand outside the formation, ready to assist at any moment.

Seeing Hongjun and the others gather to discuss breaking the formation, Luohu sneered, "Well, do you dare enter and fight?"

Hongjun smiled mildly, replying, "Why would we not? Please, Daoist!"

Luohu said no more, vanishing into the formation. Hongjun and the others exchanged glances, nodded, and stepped into the array.

Hongjun entered the Absolute Immortal Formation, wielding the Creation Jade Disk. With a flick of his hand, a small banner appeared—the Pangu Banner, one of the three treasures of creation. Its offensive power rivaled the God-Slaying Spear, but it also suppressed fortune, a boon Hongjun had acquired by chance.

Holding the Pangu Banner, Hongjun released a stream of chaotic energy, driving away the murderous aura and heading straight for the Absolute Immortal Sword. The endless sword radiance emitted by the sword was all blocked by the Creation Jade Disk.

Yangmei Daoist entered the Sword Formation of Slaughter. Though the Sword of Slaughter emitted a catastrophic aura of unmatched power, it could not harm Yangmei, a spatial demon god. Flickering in and out of view, Yangmei pressed toward the Sword of Slaughter.

Meanwhile, Ancestor Qian Kun advanced with the Qian Kun Cauldron atop his head, defending against the relentless killing force, struggling forward within the Immortal Slaughter Sword Formation. The cauldron rang loudly under the sword energy’s assault, but managed to barely withstand the onslaught.

Among them, the weakest in cultivation, Ancestor Yin Yang, relied on the Taiji Diagram, another of the three treasures of creation, to move smoothly toward the Sword of Trapping. The red radiance within the formation could not break through the Taiji Diagram’s defense.

Seated cross-legged at the heart of the formation, Luohu noticed each of the four had their treasures guarding them, and the attacks from the Immortal Slaughter Sword Formation were all repelled. Seeing them about to seize the four swords, his face darkened, and he poured his power into the formation diagram.

Suddenly, the pressure on the four within the formation intensified, each step becoming exceedingly difficult. Yet they continued to press toward the immortal swords. Luohu observed that among them, Ancestor Yin Yang was weakest but had a supreme treasure, while Yangmei and Hongjun rivaled his own cultivation. His eyes flashed with resolve, and he decided to first kill Daoist Qian Kun.

Within the sword formation, Ancestor Qian Kun, having exerted himself to the utmost, now struggled merely to preserve himself, hoping one of the others would break the formation first. Now that Luohu targeted him, his fate was sealed.

In the formation, the radiance of the Immortal Slaughter Sword suddenly intensified. Endless sharp sword energy struck the Qian Kun Cauldron, and with a sudden surge in the formation’s power, Ancestor Qian Kun did not even last a few breaths. The cauldron was instantly blasted away, his body reduced to ashes by the sword energy.

The remaining three felt the pressure surge, and all exclaimed, "This is bad!" Knowing someone had perished within the formation, they could only smile bitterly and struggle on.

Outside the formation, Fuxi gripped his only innate spiritual treasure, the Star-Slaying Sword, watching the group anxiously. Suddenly, he saw Ancestor Qian Kun struck by the sword energy and fall, his face changed. Reflexively, he stepped forward, and in an instant, found himself before the Immortal Slaughter Sword. The formation did not impede him in the slightest.

Startled for a moment, Fuxi was suddenly overjoyed. Before the sword could unleash its energy, he snatched it up and vanished from the sword formation, taking Qian Kun Cauldron with him.

Within the formation, Luohu was dumbfounded by this incredible scene. He could not have imagined that the late quasi-sage he had always dismissed would possess such divine power.

As Fuxi seized the Immortal Slaughter Sword, the formation shook violently. The other three, feeling the power dissipate, rejoiced, knowing someone had broken the formation. They hastily collected the remaining immortal swords and prepared to leave.

Just as they were departing, a furious roar echoed across heaven and earth: "Impossible! Heaven is unjust! Heaven is unjust!" It was Luohu.

By now, Luohu was utterly deranged. Seeing the others about to escape, his eyes turned crimson, and with a desperate spell, he detonated the formation diagram.

The formation diagram had been linked to the earth’s western ley lines and nourished by its murderous energy. Now, detonated, the entire western earth’s spiritual veins erupted, its power rivaling a sage’s strike. Under such force, Ancestor Yin Yang was instantly vaporized, leaving only the Taiji Diagram and the freshly collected Sword of Trapping floating in the void.

Yangmei Daoist was also gravely wounded by this blow. The Sword of Slaughter, just acquired, was knocked away. Seriously injured and fearing opportunistic attack, Yangmei resolved to leave, disappearing in a flash.

Only Fuxi had already exited the formation, untouched, while Hongjun, protected by the Creation Jade Disk, which rivaled a chaotic treasure, managed to block the blast, sustaining only minor injuries.

The two surveyed the devastation before them, exchanging wry smiles. Neither expected the great battle to end in such a manner, and both sighed in awe.

Now, only a few spiritual treasures floated above the battlefield, with no living beings remaining. Even Luohu’s surviving followers perished in the explosion.

After a long moment, Fuxi remarked, "Why have Luohu’s treasures disappeared?" A look of confusion crossed his face.

Hongjun was taken aback and quickly looked; indeed, the treasures were gone. He was sure Fuxi had not taken them, leaving him puzzled.

As the two pondered, a figure suddenly appeared in the void. Startled, they looked up to see Luohu, not dead, but now covered in cracks, his robes tattered, utterly wretched.

Luohu clutched the God-Slaying Spear, the Twelfth-Rank World-Destroying Black Lotus hovered overhead, its light dim, clearly battered from protecting him in the blast.

"Heh heh! Hongjun, you have won. Henceforth, this prehistoric land is yours. Cough, cough!" As he spoke, Luohu coughed up blood, mingled with fragments of shattered organs.

The two realized Luohu’s death was imminent and chose not to argue, remaining silent.

Luohu did not mind, and turned to Fuxi, curiously asking, "How did you pass through the sword formation as if it were nothing? What kind of divine power is this?"

Fuxi smiled helplessly, replying, "This was taught to me by a friend. He said this divine power allows one to ignore any formation or treasure’s traps—a supreme technique for escape!"

Both Luohu and Hongjun were stunned. Hongjun suddenly realized and laughed, "It must be the Daoist Chenxing who gave it to you!"

Fuxi nodded, smiling.

"Who is Daoist Chenxing? Why have I never heard of him?" Luohu was even more intrigued.

Knowing Luohu was about to die, Hongjun did not conceal it, explaining, "Do you know who destroyed the fierce beast tribe in ancient times?"

Luohu’s pupils shrank instantly, and he exclaimed, "It was him!"
