“Do you want to win?”

Hearing these words, the entire girls’ volleyball team of Class Three, Grade One fell into stunned silence.

Of course they wanted to win this match!

As the saying goes, everyone has their pride to defend. Before the game even started, the constant insults from Class Six, Grade Three had left them simmering with anger, desperate to seize victory and deliver a strong rebuttal.

Yet, the previous two rounds had made the gap between the teams painfully clear.

This wasn’t a match they could win just because they wanted it badly enough.

“Xiao Li, what do you mean by that?” Tan Xiaoxiao frowned, questioning him.

Lin Siyu, however, seemed to have an idea. “Wait, do you have a way to help us win this game?”

At her words, all eyes around them brightened.

Tan Xiaoxiao, excited, grabbed Li Sicheng’s hand and asked rapidly, “You know how to play volleyball? You know tactics? You can really help us win?”

She hoped Li Sicheng would bring a miracle.

Her voice, loud with excitement, even reached Pang Jiahui, He Juan, and the substitutes from Class Six, Grade Three, seated nearby.

“No way, this guy knows volleyball too?” Pang Jiahui’s mouth dropped open in surprise. A sudden instinct told him he might have gotten himself into trouble this time.

He Juan, too, looked worried, her brows furrowing.

At that moment, everyone’s attention focused on Li Sicheng.

He slowly shook his head. “I don’t know volleyball. I don’t know tactics either…”

Pang Jiahui instantly let out a breath of relief. “As if! He had me worried for a moment—thought he was some sort of volleyball genius who could turn the tide.”

All he cared about now was his class winning—not for the honor, but because of his bet with Li Sicheng…

Class Six, Grade Three collectively relaxed, while disappointment spread across the faces of Class Three, Grade One.

But then, Li Sicheng’s tone shifted. “However, I can make you win this match!”

“Are you making fun of us?” Tan Xiaoxiao snapped, her frustration flaring. “If you don’t know volleyball, how are you going to help us win? Unless you plan to bribe the other team into throwing the game?”

Faced with her suspicion, Li Sicheng simply laughed. “Making fun of you? Please—I’ve got tens of thousands riding on this match. Do you really think I’d risk that kind of money just for a joke?”

That gave Tan Xiaoxiao pause. Her earlier agitation had made her forget about the bet between Li Sicheng and Pang Jiahui. Now, reminded of it, she suddenly came to her senses. “Wait, do you really have a way for us to win? But you don’t even know volleyball...”

Li Sicheng smiled with utter confidence. “I don’t know volleyball, but I can make you win—if you’re willing to do as I say!”

To be honest, his words left Tan Xiaoxiao, Lin Siyu, and the whole team dizzy with confusion. Even Gao Zixi, standing nearby, felt like her head was spinning.

They simply couldn’t understand where Li Sicheng got his confidence. Nor could they fathom what method he could possibly have to help them win without even knowing the game.

At a loss, Tan Xiaoxiao turned to Lin Siyu. “Siyu, what do you think? Should we trust him?”

Lin Siyu bit her lip. “We’ve already lost two rounds in a row—do we really have any other choice? Let’s try trusting him for once!” She looked hard at Li Sicheng, recalling her sister Lin Muxue’s absolute faith in this young man. Taking a deep breath, she thought to herself, “Let’s see if you’re truly worthy of trust…”

Without realizing it, Lin Siyu’s attitude toward Li Sicheng had changed completely.

From calling him a con artist to wondering if he was worth trusting—the distance she’d traveled was enormous.

Soon, the entire girls’ volleyball team of Class Three, Grade One reached a consensus—they would trust Li Sicheng.

After all, they’d already suffered two crushing defeats. Things couldn’t get much worse, could they?

“All right, Xiao Li, tell us—what do you want us to do?” Tan Xiaoxiao urged him.

There were only a few minutes of rest between sets. She didn’t want to waste a second.

“First, I need some information…” Li Sicheng said, pulling out a notebook and pen, ready to write.

“Information? No problem.” Tan Xiaoxiao nodded and started, “I’m the setter, Siyu is the main attacker—”

“You misunderstood,” Li Sicheng interrupted, waving his hand. “That’s not what I need. I want your birth dates.”

“Our birth dates?” Lin Siyu stared at him, wide-eyed with surprise.

Not just her—Tan Xiaoxiao, Gao Zixi, and the rest of the team all wore the same baffled, mixed-up expressions.

Thinking they didn’t know what he meant, Li Sicheng explained, “Your birth date means the year, month, day, and the time you were born. If you don’t know the exact time, just the date will do.”

Lin Siyu frowned in confusion. “I know what a birth date is, but what does that have to do with volleyball?”

“That’s not for you to worry about,” Li Sicheng replied, offering no further explanation. “If you want to win, just trust me and do as I say.”

Though Lin Siyu, Tan Xiaoxiao, and the others were deeply puzzled, they had no other options at this point. They could only follow his instructions and treat this as a last-ditch attempt.

So, one after another, they called out their birth dates.

Li Sicheng wrote them down, then began calculating with a strange formula that none of the students—including Lin Siyu, Tan Xiaoxiao, or even Gao Zixi, who taught math—had ever seen before.

“What kind of formula is that?” Gao Zixi couldn’t contain her curiosity.

“You wouldn’t understand, even if I told you,” Li Sicheng replied, not looking up.

“Uh…” Gao Zixi was left speechless.

Soon, Li Sicheng finished his calculations and looked up. “Does anyone know the latitude and longitude of this place?”

Now everyone was even more bewildered.

First birth dates, now latitude and longitude…

None of this had anything to do with volleyball!

What on earth was Li Sicheng up to?

The girls stood there, frozen and silent. At the crucial moment, it was Zeng Yi who stepped up. He pulled out his phone, opened an app, and said, “I have a map app here—it can show the coordinates. Give me a second, I’ll get the location.”

A few seconds later, with the location fixed, Li Sicheng wrote down the gymnasium’s latitude and longitude.

“All right,” he said, putting away his pen. “Now, can someone explain your court positions and roles to me?”
