Chapter 106: An Inept Ally? A Traitor?
Page 1/3
Li Sicheng did not join the fray.
Because he knew that in front of the fervent and impassioned students, these few burly men stood no chance of turning the tide!
He didn’t even glance at them, simply striding purposefully toward Lei Shao.
“Stop… don’t come closer… please don’t…”
Lei Shao’s face turned pale with fear as Li Sicheng closed in step by step.
Not only did his legs tremble uncontrollably, but even his voice quivered nonstop.
Lei Shao never expected things to spiral into this state.
In his father’s circle, Shan Pao was notorious for his fighting prowess. Yet this fierce man, famed as a formidable thug, had been taken down by Li Sicheng in a single encounter!
Was this Li Sicheng really just a student?
When did students become so formidable?
How were the so-called “seasoned veterans” of society supposed to survive now?
Besides underestimating Li Sicheng’s combat ability, there was another thing Lei Shao hadn’t anticipated.
That was the courage and youthful vigor of the students!
Lei Shao had assumed that once Shan Pao and his men appeared, the group of students gathered around Li Sicheng would scatter in fear. But to his utter surprise, at the critical moment, Gao Zixi boldly stepped forward without hesitation. And none of her students were cowards—they all armed themselves and fought back against Shan Pao’s thugs.
What kind of general commands what kind of soldiers; what kind of teacher educates what kind of students.
That old saying indeed holds some truth!
As Li Sicheng neared, Lei Shao’s fear grew exponentially. Not just him—his cronies nearby also trembled in terror.
They wanted to abandon Lei Shao and flee but their legs felt like lead—Li Sicheng’s ruthless tactics earlier had utterly shattered their courage.
Though these men usually strutted around arrogantly, their bravery and fighting spirit were no match for the students of Class 1-3.
The most comical thing was that as Li Sicheng advanced, these men shouted loudly:
“Stop! If you come any closer, I’m calling for help… Security! Damn it, where are the security guards? Hurry up and come here!”
“Call the police! Quickly, call the cops!”
Well, they were the ones who had been harassing and threatening students first; now that they had lost in a scuffle and been slapped in the face, they were pretending to be victims, looking to summon security and police…
However, Lei Shao and his gang held some weight in this KTV. When they harassed Zhang Yan earlier, no one dared intervene because the staff all knew and feared them. The security guards were no exception—they had been warned in advance and were hiding far away, pretending not to see or know anything.

Because of this, Lei Shao’s loud cries for help failed to summon any security.
The guards stayed at a distance, unable to arrive within five or six minutes.
Li Sicheng stepped directly in front of Lei Shao and his gang.
The powerful aura radiating from him made Lei Shao and the others feel as if their breaths were being stifled.
Fixing his gaze on Lei Shao, Li Sicheng’s lips curled into a cold sneer: “Earlier you said you wanted me to have a bloody disaster today?”
Lei Shao dared not admit it.
He tried desperately to force a flattering smile, but it looked more pitiful than crying.
Shaking, he stammered, “No… that’s not it, you misunderstood. What I meant was… it’s… it’s you all who will have a bloody disaster today, not me…”
Lei Shao was enough of a troublemaker to think that if he were to have bad luck, his cronies had to share it too.
Li Sicheng raised an eyebrow. “Oh? You say you all will have a bloody disaster? But why do I see each of you here, unharmed, neither bleeding nor suffering?”
“Uh…”
Lei Shao’s cronies looked at each other, clearly at a loss.
Lei Shao, recalling his experience at the airport, suddenly understood what to do.
He glanced around, then grabbed a vase standing beside the corridor, screamed, and smashed it hard against his own head.
Bang!
The vase shattered, and a swelling immediately formed on Lei Shao’s head.
But there was no blood.
His cronies were stunned.
No one could imagine that the arrogant Lei Shao would be scared enough to pick up a vase and bash his own head.
“So, does this count as a bloody disaster?” Lei Shao, dazed, looked at Li Sicheng and asked.
Li Sicheng said nothing.
One of Lei Shao’s cronies, either out of fear or confusion, suddenly blurted out, “A bloody disaster has to involve blood, right? Your head is just swollen, no blood. How could that be a bloody disaster?”
Lei Shao’s face turned ashen.
Three words flashed through his mind: “Dead weight!”
Page 3/3
What’s a dead weight?
This right here is a dead weight! Clearly trying to get me killed!
Lei Shao turned his head and glared furiously at the cronies.
But the other didn’t care, instead handing him the beer bottle he was holding: “Here, smash yourself with this. It’ll bleed easier than a vase!”
“Damn you!” Lei Shao cursed loudly.
He never expected such low intelligence from his own friends.
He really wanted to ask: Are you on my side or an undercover agent?
After hesitating for a moment, Lei Shao finally took the bottle. Drawing a deep breath, he smashed it hard on his own head.
Bang!
With a sickening thud, the bottle shattered and beer spilled all over. Finally, a gash appeared on Lei Shao’s forehead, blood flowing freely.
“Shit, there’s still beer in this bottle…”
Lei Shao had thought his friend handed him an empty bottle, not one filled halfway with beer.
An empty bottle and one filled with beer have vastly different impact when smashed on the head.
Lei Shao’s body swayed and collapsed to the ground with a thud.
Seeing this, the cronies grinned slyly and said to Li Sicheng, “Big brother, look! He’s already had his bloody disaster. Can you let us go now?”
So this guy wasn’t a dead weight after all, but a traitor!
On second thought, it made sense.
Since Lei Shao could drag his cronies down with him, they naturally could use him as a scapegoat!
They all looked expectantly at Li Sicheng.
Li Sicheng shook his head and pointed at the unconscious Lei Shao: “He said earlier that today you all would have a bloody disaster. Note the plural ‘you.’ His bloody disaster has already come true; now it’s your turn.”
“Ah?”
They were completely dumbfounded.
