Lin Qi was confined to a single cell, but tales of him circulated throughout the entire detention center. No one knew his identity, not even his name; there was no word of him in the underworld, yet his ferocity had become legendary.

Among those who hadn't faced him, there were naturally some who refused to accept his supremacy. For example, a man known as the Black Bear.

The Black Bear’s most distinguishing feature was his darkness. Nearly six foot three, with a burly, coal-black frame weighing over two hundred pounds, he looked like a towering, obsidian iron pillar.

His eyes were small, almost invisible, which was why everyone called him the Black Bear. He wasn’t blind, just narrow-eyed.

The Black Bear had a similar tale to Lin Qi’s: on his first day, he had conquered everyone in his cell, and soon his reputation spread throughout the detention center. Mentioning his name was akin to invoking a legend.

When he heard there was someone as tough as himself, the Black Bear was immediately displeased.

“How tough can he be? Watch me teach him a lesson tomorrow!”

Since they weren’t in the same cell, he could only wait until breakfast in the cafeteria the next morning to make his move.

Of course, fighting in the cafeteria would mean severe punishment afterward, and his sentence would certainly be extended.

But the Black Bear didn’t care about that.

He simply wanted to prove that he was the toughest of them all!

News of the Black Bear’s plan to teach Lin Qi a lesson swept through the detention center, reaching every cell. Everyone knew about it—except for Lin Qi himself.

No one informed Lin Qi. Everyone was waiting to see the spectacle.

Those in Lin Qi’s cell treated him with apparent respect, but behind his back, they were gleefully anticipating his downfall.
