The three elder members had believed they were finally out of danger, only to find three people approaching from outside and blocking their path outright, which startled them.

“I advise you to step aside at once, or you will be courting death,” said the second elder in a cold voice as he stared at the three men before him.

“What bold words. The only question is whether you possess the strength to back them up,” said a middle-aged man in blue, his expression calm.

“Looking for death!”

The second elder said no more. His hands curved into claws as he struck at the newcomer, razor-sharp finger force reaching the man’s head in the blink of an eye.

The man remained unhurried, crossing his fists in a powerful counterblow. A violent force, like surging waves crashing against shore, slammed into the second elder’s fingers.

A thunderous boom rang out.

The explosive power spread outward like a volcano erupting. Trees in the courtyard burst apart from the impact, and even the surrounding walls collapsed with a crash.

“City Lord Wang, don’t let them get away!” Zhao Xu called out, seeing the man engaged with the second elder.

“Rest assured. Not one of them will escape,” Wang Rui replied with composure.

At that moment, the eldest elder attacked a young man dressed in white. His palms carried a trace of spatial power as they pressed in on the youth.

The young man gave a faint smile and threw a straightforward punch. A tremendous pressure surged forward with the blow, colliding with the eldest elder’s palm.

Amid the deafening impact, both men shuddered and were sent flying backward.

“How is this possible? At such a young age, he has already condensed his own aura,” the eldest elder muttered after the exchange, instantly sensing the youth’s formidable strength.

“Damn it. I never thought we still wouldn’t get out.” The fourth elder was locked in combat with another opponent, but within moments he was driven back again and again. Looking over at the others, he could already tell that all was lost.

By then Liu Feng, Zhao Xu, and the others had also arrived. They joined the attack, unleashing a fierce assault upon the three elders.

With everyone working together, the fourth elder was quickly defeated. Beaten until he coughed up blood and collapsed, he was immediately bound up by two guards of the Zhao family, tied like a dumpling.

The second elder was highly skilled; only with Wang Rui, Zhao Heng, and Zhao Tu joining forces were they able to prevail with great difficulty. He too was bound and restrained.

Seeing that his two junior brothers had already been captured, the eldest elder knew this operation had utterly failed. With a thunderous shout, he unleashed all his power.

A torrent of savage force surged from within him. His palms flashed out rapidly, sending dozens of strikes at the crowd in quick succession.

Liu Feng and the others hurriedly countered, but the immense force drove them steadily backward.

The eldest elder seized the opening and tried to break through, but just as he took a step, his body suddenly jolted. Then he was sent flying backward, crashing heavily to the ground.

An elderly man appeared in everyone’s sight. It was he who had struck at the last moment and grievously wounded the eldest elder in a single blow.

“Uncle, you’re finally here. If it weren’t for you, the eldest elder might have escaped,” Wang Rui said happily upon seeing him.

The old man replied with an even tone, “It was nothing. However, your second uncle and the Song family head’s uncle have gone together to the Hundred Poisons Sect’s lair in South Prefecture City. I wonder whether they have taken the place yet?”

“Will they be in danger?” Wang Rui asked with some concern. “After all, I’ve heard the sect master of the Hundred Poisons Sect is a master of the Fusion Realm. I’m afraid my second uncle and the others may not be his match.”

“That is precisely why I must go there at once to support them,” the old man said. “Old friend, will you accompany me?” His gaze turned to Zhao Xu.

Zhao Xu looked at the old man and laughed heartily. “Old Wang, I never expected you to have already reached the peak of the Yin Yang Realm. You may well have one foot in the Fusion Realm already. I am no match for you now.”

The old man said calmly, “You’ve also reached the eighth level of the Yin Yang Realm. You’re not far from the Fusion Realm yourself. Enough. This is no time for talk; we should hurry and reinforce them.”

Zhao Xu nodded and set off with the old man toward the Hundred Poisons Sect.

“Grandfather, I’d like to go and broaden my horizons as well, if that’s all right,” Liu Feng suddenly said as he watched the two men leave in silence.

“You’re not very old, yet you certainly have courage. Do you even know what sort of place the Hundred Poisons Sect is? It is a cruel land of slaughter,” the old man said, his voice turning slightly cold.

“Old Wang, don’t underestimate my grandson. His strength is no weaker than that of many renowned masters,” Zhao Xu said with a trace of pride.

“If you think he can manage it, then I won’t say more,” the old man replied with a dismissive air.

“Xiao Feng, on this trip to the Hundred Poisons Sect, you must be careful and vigilant. Do not be careless,” Liu Yuming reminded him.

Liu Feng nodded and followed the old man and Zhao Xu toward the Hundred Poisons Sect.

After leaving the main street, they proceeded south along the broad road. After about a hundred li, they entered the mountains.

The mountain roads were winding and treacherous, the peaks steep. One misstep could send a person tumbling off a cliff. But for the three of them, it was as easy as walking on level ground.

After traveling another ten li or so, they crossed a small ridge and suddenly felt the world brighten before them. Within the mountains lay a plain stretching over a hundred li across, and upon that plain stood a vast complex of buildings: the headquarters of the Hundred Poisons Sect.

At that very moment, shouts and cries of slaughter shook the heavens from within. Looking closely, the three saw two groups of men locked in brutal combat against a crowd of black-clad figures. It was the people of the Wang family and the Song family fighting the Hundred Poisons Sect.

After watching for a moment, the three of them moved forward.

When they reached the great gate of the Hundred Poisons Sect, they found it had already been smashed into ruin by overwhelming force.

Bang, bang, bang...

Just as the three stepped into the sect’s courtyard, a tremendous crash erupted from not far away, followed by the trembling of the ground beneath their feet, the momentum akin to mountains collapsing and the earth splitting apart.

Liu Feng looked toward the source and saw that the震动 was caused by a duel between two middle-aged men.

By now they were moving so quickly they were like bolts of lightning. Their palms kept colliding, and the vast power bursting forth was like a volcanic eruption, smashing down many houses and leaving deep pits scattered across the ground.

Then the man in black let out a fierce roar, his aura surging layer upon layer. He slapped out a swift, overwhelming palm strike toward the man in white.

The man in white frowned deeply and thrust both palms forward to meet him.

Bang!

A violent explosion rang out. Immense force spread in all directions like a hurricane, sending the nearby fighters staggering backward, all coughing up blood.

The man in white was driven back as well, a thin thread of blood seeping from the corner of his mouth.

“Bad! He’s been wounded. Hurry, we must support him!” Zhao Xu’s expression changed when he saw the injury. Pushing off the ground with the tip of his foot, he leaped forward and attacked the man in black.

Wang Rui’s uncle also let out a long howl and charged at the man in black.
