I don't want to talk about my cute kids or my aging parents; playing the victim is meaningless, and truth be told, Xiaoyu isn't miserable at all. Being able to do what I love and support my family by typing away with my own two hands is a great happiness and joy.

Of course, I don't want to go on about thanking the platform for the opportunity or my editor Winnie for her guidance, because I know none of you really care about that. Let’s talk about what you care about most—the daily grind of life... no, wait, I mean the question of bonus chapters.

Everyone knows my personality. To put it nicely, I don't make promises lightly, and I don't add chapters easily. To put it bluntly, I’m a bit of a slow writer with a sluggish brain.

People call me "Two-Chapter Fish." Where did that come from? It’s a nickname I earned from my previous book, *Peerless National Martial Arts in the City*. I wrote that book for over two years, and towards the end, I consistently released two chapters a day—no major bursts, but no missing chapters either. All in all, I think I turned in a satisfactory result. Although I had wanted to finish it earlier, thanks to the tremendous support from my readers, the performance was quite good. I ended up writing nearly five million words, and I stayed diligent and focused right to the very end. My long-time readers know this well.

As for this current book, I wanted to try and craft a grand, expansive world. It’s difficult, and conveying it clearly is no small feat. Every environment, every detail, and every character must be meticulously carved, so it’s inevitable that I’ve been a bit long-winded. You all haven’t minded my lack of conciseness and have stuck with me this far—that really means a lot.

I am telling a story that is uplifting and inspiring. The protagonist’s gradual progress and every moment of triumph are like the shouts we let out in this complicated, chaotic world. The dissatisfaction we feel in reality can find a cathartic release within these pages. This is a fairy tale for adults; the protagonist is you, it is me, it is all of us. Perhaps it lacks deep philosophical weight or tear-jerking drama, but at the very least, I hope it makes for a comfortable read. I want to use a calm tone to weave an ideal realm.

Look, I’m being long-winded again. If I keep rambling like this, I suspect I could go on for a year... So, back to the question you care about most: bonus chapters.

First off: any Alliance Leader will absolutely get a bonus chapter! As for a Silver Alliance Leader—well, I’ll commit to ten bonus chapters. My ego is just that big. Even if my performance is average, I should still learn from the masters when it comes to the spirit of rewarding readers. We don't have a Gold Alliance Leader yet, but let's put it out there: one hundred bonus chapters!! That would surely kill me, and I might not even be able to write them, so, dear whales, please don't try that lightly.

This book currently has 45,000 followers. That includes the Silver Alliance donation from the magnanimous "Baiyi Ran Shuanghua y" (formerly known as "Ben Yin"), which brought in many readers who don't usually follow books. But regardless, let’s use that number.

If we calculate based on a ten-to-one ratio, that would be 4,000 initial subscriptions. If we hit that, I’ll provide a minimum of four chapters every day from then on—even if my hands fall off, I won’t break my word. If we hit 3,000 initial subscriptions, it’ll be three chapters a day.

If it’s 2,000, well, no need to say it—the "Two-Chapter Fish" nickname will return to the scene. As for anything below 2,000 initial subscriptions, my nickname will change again—to "Salted Fish"! If you don't support the initial launch, I’ll be just as lazy as a salted fish... If it’s below 1,000, well, then you have truly lost me.

Wait... over there, a little sister is asking, what if we get 5,000 initial subscriptions? Why didn't you mention that? Well, I hadn't even thought of it. But since you asked, I might as well say: if we reach 5,000, I will provide five chapters every day from then on. If you dare to subscribe, I dare to write.
