Chapter 136: Departure

When Liu Amin heard those words, her entire face turned ashen, and the corners of her mouth began to tremble.

She swallowed instinctively, then glanced back at the people beside her.

Only then did she suddenly realize that, in this place, she was nothing more than a ridiculous clown.

The people around her looked at her with faint amusement, their expressions strange and inscrutable.

At the sight of this, Liu Amin’s lips immediately took on a bluish hue. After drawing several great, ragged breaths, she threw herself desperately toward the side.

“You can all go to hell! Shu Yiming, I’ll remember this day. I’ll remember everything you’ve done to me!” With that, Liu Amin charged toward the exit, her eyes blazing.

Shu Yiming did not stop her. He merely waved his hand, signaling everyone to clear the way.

Liu Amin stormed outside. The moment the people around her saw her, they retreated as though she were a rabid dog, opening a path before her.

In less than a moment, Liu Amin had reached the door.

She had never been so humiliated—not even when reduced to a stray dog.

She had come to someone else’s territory to offer an olive branch, so she had not brought a single person with her.

Because of that, she now had no one to vent her anger on and, for a time, did not even know what to say.

Standing in the street, she roared at the crowd, “Shu Yiming, just you wait! I swear I’ll make sure you die without a single descendant!”

As she brooded over this, a sudden thought struck her: Shu Yiming had two younger sisters.

One of them, Shu Jinghan, was already grown and quite wary, with a strong sense of self-preservation.

The other was named Shu Miaoyan. She was only around ten years old, still at that innocent age when curiosity toward everyone and everything was just beginning to awaken.

At this thought, Liu Amin narrowed her eyes slightly.

She gave a cold laugh and murmured Shu Miaoyan’s name under her breath.

Seeing Liu Amin leave, Shu Yiming felt uneasy. He immediately instructed Ouyang Zhuo, “Liu Amin will certainly seek an opportunity to retaliate. Go and make some arrangements—find a few security guards. My two sisters are both gentle by nature. If Liu Amin manages to harm either of them, I won’t be able to rest easy.”

Ouyang Zhuo immediately nodded in acknowledgment.

Liu Amin’s people soon sprang into action. They laid ambushes in various places and kept a close watch on everything happening around Shu Yiming. The slightest disturbance would be reported to Liu Amin at once.
