"Whoosh..."

"Enemy attack!"

Accompanied by the wail of air raid sirens, fighter jets appeared in the skies above the Electronic Countermeasures Regiment. Thick white smoke instantly billowed from the regiment's encampment, plunging the entire unit into complete chaos.

Having already retreated to the mountain slope, Su Yang and his three comrades watched the smoking encampment, each of them filled with excitement.

"Fantastic! The Electronic Countermeasures Regiment is finished, hahaha!"

Xiwa was so happy he almost jumped for joy.

"Shh, keep it down!" Su Yang hurriedly covered Xiwa's mouth, gesturing for him to be quiet.

Are you kidding? Although they had fallen back a bit, nobody knew if there was an opposing Blue Force patrol nearby.

Then, exchanging glances with Zhuang Yan and Zheng Sanpao, Su Yang said, "We need to pull back now and head straight for the missile battalion. If the Blue Force patrols catch up to us, we'll be in deep trouble."

"Let's move out immediately."

Old Pao didn't hesitate. Following Su Yang's suggestion, he led the other three away from their hiding spot.

Half an hour later, Gao Dazhuang and the men from the White Fang Commando appeared at the exact same spot.

"Wild Wolf, they stayed here earlier. Probably for about half an hour," Tuolang said, looking at the footprints on the ground and sniffing a leaf he had picked up before looking up.

"Gray Wolf, within a fifty-kilometer radius of the Electronic Countermeasures Regiment, which other units are stationed besides us?" Gao Dazhuang turned and asked Gray Wolf after hearing Tuolang's report.

"Aside from us, there's an armored regiment and the missile battalion within this range," Gray Wolf quickly recited the information from memory.

"The armored regiment and the missile battalion!" After a brief silence upon hearing this, Gao Dazhuang said in a firm tone, "Let's go, to the missile battalion!"

...

"Their security must have been stepped up! We can't get through."

On the outskirts of the Blue Force missile battalion's camp, Zheng Sanpao put down his binoculars and looked at the encampment in the distance. Patrols were stepping up their security every few minutes, and he said with a depressed tone.

Su Yang, however, remained unfazed. "Isn't that normal? We just took out the Electronic Countermeasures Regiment; it would be strange if they didn't step up patrols and security now."

Zhuang Yan asked with a puzzled look, "Then what do we do? If we can't get close, it'll be hard to send accurate coordinates to headquarters."

"So we have to change our plan. We can't just report coordinates and call it a day like we did with the Electronic Countermeasures Regiment. We'll have to report approximate coordinates first and then act as suicidal guides for the air force."

Su Yang explained his plan. They lacked laser-guidance equipment and couldn't provide bombing targets for the air force from a distance via laser designators.

The equipment they had looted from the Blue Force sniper team required them to get close to the targets to determine exact coordinates.

The missile battalion was different from the Electronic Countermeasures Regiment. The missile launchers in the battalion were separated from one another, with a certain distance between each vehicle, specifically to prevent one explosion from triggering a chain reaction that would destroy the others.

Therefore, they weren't clustered together like the Electronic Countermeasures Regiment.

This posed a problem for pinpointing their coordinates. After all, the air force pilots needed precise coordinates; a mere general area could easily result in a failed airstrike.

"In that case, we split up, find a way to get close to the targets, and then use smoke grenades to guide the planes," Zheng Sanpao said, grasping Su Yang's intention and making an immediate decision.

"Good. Same as before: Squad Leader, you and Zhuang Yan take a group and keep the radio. Xiwa and I will take the other group."

After a brief discussion, the four finalized their plan and split into two groups, creeping toward the missile battalion's encampment.

Time ticked by, and night finally fell.

Seizing an opportunity during a sentry rotation, Su Yang and Xiwa used the blind spot and crept past the warning line while the sentry wasn't paying attention.

As for why they crawled across, the reason was simple: the grass around the warning line was quite tall, and Su Yang and Xiwa were still wearing the ghillie suits stripped from the Blue Force snipers, which made crawling through the grass ideal.

Just as Su Yang and Xiwa crossed the warning line, several off-road vehicles drove up the main road and stopped at the checkpoint.

"Oh no, it's the White Fang guys!"

Looking at the figures getting out of the vehicles—fully armed, wearing boonie hats, and dressed differently from the standard Blue Force camouflage—Su Yang felt his heart sink.

"Su Yang, what is it?" Xiwa asked, puzzled.

"We might have been exposed. The White Fang people are here."

Su Yang gave a brief explanation, then glanced around. He spotted a military truck parked a few dozen meters away, with a driver inspecting the tires beside it.

His eyes lit up, and he quickly handed all of his smoke grenades to Xiwa.

"Xiwa, hide here. I'll go draw the White Fang guys away. Remember, don't expose yourself. If Old Pao and the others are discovered too, find a way to blow up their fuel depot," Su Yang instructed earnestly.

With that, amidst Xiwa's startled gaze, he slipped off his ghillie suit, shouldered his sniper rifle, and crept quietly toward the military truck.

At the checkpoint, Gao Dazhuang had Gray Wolf show their identification documents to the sentry before asking, "Have you spotted any Red Force scouts around here?"

The sentry leading the detail at the checkpoint was a second-term sergeant. After confirming the identification and counter-signeline, he shook his head and replied, "Reporting to the Commander, patrols have swept the surrounding area many times, but we haven't found the Red Force scouts you mentioned yet."

Hearing this, Gao Dazhuang said nothing more. He turned to Tuolang and instructed, "Tuolang, take a team and search the nearby areas where someone could easily hide. Those Red Force scouts are definitely around here. I'm going to see the leadership of the missile battalion and urge them to relocate their positions immediately."

"Yes!" Tuolang acknowledged the order and left.

Watching Tuolang and his team depart, Gray Wolf said with some concern, "Wild Wolf, do you think the missile battalion leadership will agree to our request?"

"Whether they agree or not, we must find a way to make them realize they are in grave danger."

Wild Wolf understood Gray Wolf's point. The missile battalion belonged to a different unit, and they wouldn't necessarily relocate just because someone claimed there were Red Force scouts about.

Therefore, he added, "That's why we also need to track down the Red Force scouts as quickly as possible. That's the best solution."

No sooner had his voice fallen than a burst of chaotic shouting echoed from ahead.

"Hurry, stop that vehicle! There are Red Force scouts!"

Gao Dazhuang looked toward the source of the noise and saw a military truck speeding toward their direction.

"Quick, stop it!" Wild Wolf instantly understood what was happening and shouted to the sentry near the checkpoint.

Gray Wolf reacted quickly as well. Together with the sergeant, they pushed the wooden roadblock barrier into the middle of the road to block the path.

In the truck, Su Yang saw the rapidly approaching checkpoint, hardened his heart, slammed his foot down on the gas pedal, and crashed straight into the roadblock barrier.

"Get out of the way!"

The sentries, who had initially intended to block the vehicle, realized the driver was completely reckless and didn't dare to risk their lives, hurriedly diving to both sides of the road.

*Crash!*

The wooden barrier splintered into pieces as the military truck smashed through the checkpoint and sped off into the distance.

"Damn it, the bastard has a death wish!" the startled sentries cursed angrily.

"Get in the vehicles, after them!" Gao Dazhuang was furious. The damn Red Force scout was completely disregarding him, escaping time and time again.

With that, he was the first to leap into the nearby off-road vehicle, preparing to give chase.
